    Queen Street Heritage District
    Visitors to the Queen Street Heritage District, in downtown St. Catharines, will find the streets lined with grand houses, churches and commercial buildings, once home to the city's leading businessmen and families. Georgian, Italian and Gothic architectural styles are present in the district, as well as the historic Montebello Park.

    Port Dalhousie

    Described as 'a village within a city', this historic port district of St. Catharines was home to the first three Welland Canals and still serves as host to the Henley Regatta Rowing Course. A restored pier features an antique carousel, which still sells rides for just 5 cents and the many 19th-century buildings now house trendy shops, restaurants and B&Bs.

    Historic Yates Street
    Historic Yates Street, one of two heritage districts in downtown St. Catharines, is lined with elegant Victorian homes from as early as 1840. The street parallels Twelve Mile Creek which originally served as the first and second Welland Canals.
